Electricity consumption is down month-to-month. We attribute this to being away for a week and the fact that one daughter is off to college! Even though production was down given rains, we were able to send 551kWh off to PECO. We had no gas usage because no heat and all of the wash was dried on the line. This resulted in another month of net surplus of energy!
Water consumption is up. The billing period is June through August. We do not water the plants with domestic water – rain water only – so that is not the reason. Best guess? Lots of too long showers and lots of clothes washing. This points back to our need to change the washer to a more efficient model.
