Electric generation was down for the month because of all the cloud cover – we got lots of rain – great for the plants and trees, the ground water and filling the rain barrels – not so good for generating power. Still, generation is ahead of last year and consumption is below last year.  Gas consumption is down versus last month which may be due to less days in the month and the fact that the month was on average 8 degrees warmer than last month.  Year-to-date gas consumption is down 25% from last year which is due in part to a warmer winter and to a successful air sealing project!
