Earth Hour March 31st at 8:30pm

Tonite at 8:30 is Earth Hour Organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Earth Hour is a time to join the world in turning off your lights for 60 minutes in support of the planet and take a stand against climate change.  We take artificial lighting for granted.  Did you know that approximately 38percent of electricity generated in the US is for lighting. Any reduction in the use of artificial lighting has a direct affect on carbon emissions, dark sky initiatives and our electric bills. With almost 5 million supporters and a global network in over 100 countries/territories, Earth Hour is a powerful worldwide movement.  So take a stand tonite, light a candle and turn off the lights.
